At the beginning of our history, in 1905, ICN was introduced under the aegis of the Université de Lorraine and the CCI 54, then known as the Institut Commercial de Nancy. In 2003, we took a major step forward by becoming ICN Business School, a state-approved private higher education institution closely associated with the Université de Lorraine.
In 1999, in collaboration with the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art et de Design and with the Mines Nancy, we established the Artem Alliance, an initiative that fosters the fusion of disciplines and catalyzes the development of our innovative pedagogical approach: #ATM.
ICN Business School holds accreditations from the French quality assurance agency CEFDG (the National Commission for the Evaluation of Training and Qualifications in Management), AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Foundation for Management Development). They constitute formal recognition, based on rigorous quality standards, and demonstrates the quality of all of ICN’s activities: education, research and partnerships.
Accreditation guarantees the teaching quality and international outlook of ICN for future students and graduates, and indicates the school’s unique positioning: its #ArtTechnologyManagement teaching philosophy. As well as being important for business, this positioning adds value to students in terms of employability.
Accreditation shows that the knowledge and skills that students develop on our courses are directly relevant to the world of business, and demonstrates the quality of the teaching faculty (research professors and professionals from the socio-economic world). The teaching faculty ensures that course content constantly evolves in line with the current issues faced by businesses.
Through this transparent process of regular external evaluation, accreditations increase the trust of all our partners: businesses, partner universities and public organisations.
